Edukasi Terapi Mindfullness pada Tenaga Keperawatan di RSUD Pasar Rebo Era Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract


Covid 19 has had a fairly complex impact in various fields such as health. The emergence of this pandemic affects the mental health of health workers, especially nurses. Nurses sometimes feel stressed and sad, anxious, frustrated and confused and do not know how to deal with their condition. This will trigger depression that can occur due to negative thinking about yourself and others, so it is necessary to manage stress, one of which is mindfulness therapy. The purpose of this activity is to educate the invitation to manage these feelings and thoughts to be more positive. This activity method uses educational media in the form of videos and leaflets for nurses, the implementation of educational activities is provided by lecturers and students by creating innovative media. Before the media is used, there is a product evaluation stage by lecturers and student peer groups. After revision, the media was used to educate nurses. As a result of this activity, around 112 participants who participated in the education 100% rated positive mindfullnes therapy activities. Conclusion: Nurses who have been taught mindfulness therapy by lecturers and students can have good coping mechanisms for feelings of sadness, anxiety, stress and frustration during the Covid 19 pandemic.

 

Abstrak: Covid 19 telah memberikan dampak yang cukup kompleks di berbagai bidang seperti kesehatan. Munculnya pandemi ini memengaruhi kesehatan mental tenaga kesehatan terutama tenaga perawat. Perawat terkadang merasa stres dan sedih, cemas, frustasi serta bingung dan tidak tahu cara untuk mengatasi kondisinya. Hal ini akan memicu depresi yang dapat terjadi karena berpikir negatif pada diri sendiri dan orang lain, sehingga perlu pengelolaan dalam mengatasi stress salah satunya dengan mindfulness therapy. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melakukan edukasi ajakan untuk mengelola perasaan dan pikiran tersebut agar menjadi lebih positif. Metode kegiatan ini dengan media edukasi dalam bentuk video dan leaflet kepada perawat, pelaksanaan kegiatan edukasi diberikan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa dengan membuat media inovatif. Sebelum media digunakan, ada tahap evaluasi produk oleh dosen dan peer group mahasiswa. Setelah dilakukan revisi, media digunakan untuk edukasi kepada perawat. Hasil kegiatan ini, sekitar 112 peserta yang ikut dalam edukasi 100% menilai positif kegiatan mindfullnes therapy. Kesimpulan: Perawat yang telah diajarkan mindfulness therapy oleh pengabdi dosen dan mahasiswa dapat memiliki mekanisme koping yang baik terhadap perasaan sedih, cemas, stress dan frustasi selama masa pandemi Covid 19.
